This position is set in a remote work environment, allowing you the flexibility to manage your schedule while ensuring an optimal work-life balance. Being part of a community health clinic, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and social workers, to deliver integrated and holistic care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity, duration, and impact of mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder on clients' daily functioning.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans using evidence-based methodologies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring alignment with the clients' individual goals and preferences.

• Monitor and assess client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as required to optimize outcomes and foster recovery.
\n
• Provide education and guidance to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care techniques to encourage active participation in their recovery.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a cohesive care plan and share insights from a psychological perspective.
\n
• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to foster professional growth and enhance treatment strategies within the clinic.

• Adhere to all ethical and legal standards by maintaining accurate and confidential records to document client interactions and treatment updates.

• Advocate for mental health awareness and support the community by working with various groups, including homeless populations, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on clients experiencing mood disorders, including anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele, including underserved populations such as the homeless, refugees, and survivors of trauma. Your empathetic and compassionate approach will be critical in helping these individuals overcome their challenges and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) .

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Annual salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
