Required Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PACU or Post-Anesthesia setting
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system
• Ability to handle higher acuity cases such as thoracic, orthopedic, neurological, vascular, urology, and general surgery

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with trauma or emergency surgery cases
• Prior experience working in a 24/7 unit with rotating shifts
• Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Active RN license in the state of employment
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher preferred
• Experience in a hospital PACU environment, especially in a high-volume or specialty surgical unit

Other Requirements:

• No local candidates within 50 miles; this is a 13-week assignment scheduled from 9:00 am to 9:30 pm
• Availability to work in a unit that operates 24/7, including holidays with on-call responsibilities
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting with a multidisciplinary team
• Valid licensure, certification, and any applicable travel or reimbursement needs
