Registered nurses play a crucial role in delivering and coordinating patient care. They collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to provide both physical and emotional support to patients and their families. The daily tasks of a Registered Nurse encompass a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to: conducting assessments and reassessments, creating personalized care plans, administering medications, maintaining documentation, educating patients, ensuring proper equipment maintenance, and communicating patient needs effectively.

• Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.
• Provide respiratory care, manage ventilators, and monitor patients accordingly.
• Act as the primary coordinator among various disciplines to ensure seamless patient care.
• Utilize computerized documentation systems to monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as necessary.
• Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with your healthcare team members.

• Current RN licensure from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or a compact state Board of Nursing.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• BLS certification is required.
• Must obtain ACLS certification within six months of hire or transfer from a non-ICU area.
• Specialty certification is preferred.
• One to two years of clinical nursing experience is preferred.
• ICU experience is also preferred.

Our facility proudly serves Rutherford County, Tennessee, with a 100-bed hospital that provides comprehensive medical care for both adults and children, including emergency services, surgical procedures, and more.
