About the Role:  
Amity Pharmacy in Woodbridge is looking for a passionate Pharmacist Manager to lead our dedicated pharmacy team. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your clinical expertise with leadership skills in a community-focused environment where you can make a real difference in patients' lives. 

 
Responsibilities:  

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory compliance
• Dispense prescription medications and counsel patients on proper medication use and potential interactions
• Supervise, mentor, and schedule pharmacy staff including technicians and support personnel
• Manage inventory, drug procurement, and vendor relationships to maintain optimal stock levels
• Ensure adherence to federal and state pharmacy laws, DEA regulations, and HIPAA guidelines
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to optimize patient medication therapy
• Handle escalated patient concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and care

Requirements:

 

• Degree of Pharmacy from an accredited institution
• Active and unrestricted Connecticut Pharmacist license
• Previous pharmacy management or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs, drug interactions, and patient counseling
• Familiarity with pharmacy management software and dispensing systems
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care
• First time Manager are considered to apply
