Seigfreid Bingham, P.C. is seeking an experienced IT Support & Trainer to support the day-to-day operations of our legal team in downtown Kansas City, MO. This is an in-office position.

Position Summary

Responsible for hardware and software troubleshooting, workstation set-up, software help desk support, and information systems.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment where multiple deadlines, confidentiality, and accuracy are essential. Strong communication skills and proactive problem-solving abilities are critical to success in this role. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

IT support responsibilities include:

• Help desk support

• Support issues with Computer equipment, printers, Xerox machines, TVs, Apple TVs, AV equipment, phone systems, mobile devices, phone headsets, and other related accessories

• Computer lifecycle management

• Update/reinstall software

• Endpoint patch management

• Order computer equipment and accessories as needed

• Software evaluation and compatibility testing

• Multi-factor authentication maintenance and support

• Printer queue and print server setup and maintenance

• Manage Printer/Copier supplies and maintenance through our vendors

• Manage checkout laptops

• Remote Desktop user configuration and support

• Set up equipment for meetings

• User onboarding/offboarding

• Managing and assigning software licenses

• Maintain and edit system macros and templates

• Set up and support of document sharing applications such as ShareFile

• Support Document Management System

• Tax software updates

• Email and file systems backup and recovery

• Participate in Disaster Recovery planning and testing

Training responsibilities include:

• New employee training on all computer systems and software including

• Microsoft Office and custom add-ins

• Adobe Acrobat

• NetDocuments (Document Management)

• ShareFile

• DocStyle

• Phone systems

• Multi-Factor authentication

• Time Entry

• Client Intake

• Coordinating with vendors for additional software training

• Ongoing systems training for all employees

• Train estate planning staff on use of master documents

• Create and update training materials

• Train on use of AI tools, such as Harvey, Lexis Protégé, and Copilot

Miscellaneous responsibilities include:

• Prepare closing and estate planning electronic books

• Schedule online meetings via Zoom

• Send documents for signatures via Docusign

• Assist with Adobe conversions

• Assist with document comparisons

• Set up out of office in Outlook and on the phone for users when needed

• Facilitate ingests and productions for eDiscovery systems

• Order, install, and adjust monitor arms and other office hardware

Experience

Minimum of four years of IT experience in a Support and/or System Administrator role.

Experience with Active Directory, 365 Admin Center, Entra, Autopilot, and Intune preferred.

Education

Associate’s degree with a focus on IT and/or IT certification(s). Four years of IT experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement.
