Job Summary:
Provide exceptional support to patients, healthcare providers, and team members by performing precise and timely laboratory testing. Communicate results effectively to ordering practitioners with professionalism and accuracy.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Ensure accuracy in all laboratory testing procedures.
- Perform quality control, quality assurance, and routine maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Comply with all regulatory agency guidelines and standards.
- Manage workload efficiently and report any outstanding specimen issues.
- Assist with problem resolution and maintain productivity standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree required.
At least one year of post-training laboratory experience is recommended but not mandatory.
American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) certification preferred.
Overnight (4th shift).
This position is located in a regional healthcare facility serving the Midwest area of the United States.
