REGISTERED NURSE

NATURE OF WORKFairfield Memorial Hospital is seeking a detail‑oriented, patient focused Clinic Nurse to support daily operations within our Ortho Clinic. This role is essential in ensuring smooth communication, timely coordination of care, and a positive patient experience. The Clinic Nurse manages incoming calls from patients, pharmacies, and external providers; assists with orders and medical care needs; and collaborates closely with practitioners, nurses, management, and ancillary departments to deliver exceptional service. This position also coordinates precertifications, referrals, outside records, and appointment scheduling to support efficient clinic workflow. On occasion, the Clinic Nurse completes vital signs intake, gathers history and physical details, and assists providers with in‑office procedures. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively in a fast paced outpatient environment.
