Network Operations Center Analyst

Requirements

• 2 or more years of experience in network operations center (NOC) support or technical help desk administration.

• Proficiency in network monitoring platforms including SolarWinds and SquaredUp for infrastructure oversight.

• Experience with ServiceNow or enterprise ticketing software for incident logging and escalation.

• Experience in first-line network diagnostics, circuit triage, and troubleshooting connectivity failures.

• Experience with telecommunications vendor coordination and carrier circuit outage tracking.

• Experience in executing enterprise incident communications, alarm notifications, and knowledgebase updates.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor enterprise network infrastructure and remote hardware continuously using SolarWinds and SquaredUp.

• Triage inbound network support calls and log detailed incident tickets within ServiceNow.

• Execute first-level investigation and diagnostic testing for network outages and system degradations.

• Escalate critical system alarms and unresolved connectivity issues to Tier 2 engineers and service providers.

• Issue enterprise-wide incident communications and emergency status bulletins using approved protocols.

• Coordinate with third-party telecommunications vendors to track circuit restoration during alarm conditions.

• Maintain technical operational logs, shift turnover records, and troubleshooting knowledgebase articles.
