Leasing Consultant PT (61946)

Location: The Kennedy Apartments, San Antonio, TX 78235. Position: Leasing Consultant (Part Time, 20‑29 hours per week). Salary: $20.00 per hour. Travel: up to 25%. Shift: Day, including weekends. Category: Real Estate. Role Overview As the leasing consultant, you’ll respond to inquiries and leads from prospective clients to identify potential renters, market, lease, and renew apartment leases in accordance with company standards and Fair Housing guidelines while providing excellent customer service. You will commit to the service needs of both internal and external customers and represent the company professionally and courteously. Key Responsibilities Ensure the daily marketing, administrative, and financial operations of the property under the direction of the Community Manager. Maintain a strong understanding of the community and local market competitor specials and floor plans, and develop comprehensive working knowledge of all leasing units and documents in compliance with company standards and Fair Housing guidelines. Process lease application paperwork for approval by the CM and prepare new lease contracts. Inspect all target and/or show units in advance and prepare for greeting and touring prospects, including vacant, model, or common/amenity areas. Inspect pre‑leased apartments before move‑in and promptly communicate any concerns to the Service Manager or Community Manager. Understand, utilize, and promote all third‑party online leasing programs appropriately. Log all prospect information and notifications accurately and timely into the Property Management software. Check, respond to, and document community and individual emails, voicemails, and text messages. Stay up to date with all promotion and leasing incentives. Assist with completing the Move Out Vacant Inspection Checklist (MOVIC) accurately and within specified deadlines. Post notices to vacate and other community communications, if applicable. Assist with daily community inspections to ensure community policies are followed and address issues, if applicable. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in a customer‑facing or customer‑service role. Demonstrated sales and closing skills. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work with a diverse group of people. Where required by law, must have a state leasing license or the ability to obtain the required license(s) within the required timeframe.
