Key Account Technologist (Advanced Packaging)

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Key Account Technologist to bridge semiconductor customer needs with product innovation in advanced packaging. The role combines deep technical expertise in next-generation semiconductor technologies with strategic account management and cross-functional influence.
Responsibilities
- Develop expertise in advanced packaging trends, emerging manufacturing technologies, and customer technology roadmaps
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with strategic customers to understand technical challenges and workflow requirements
- Translate customer insights and market trends into recommendations for product, marketing, and engineering teams
- Identify technology gaps, competitive opportunities, and innovation priorities for product development
- Collaborate across functions including product management, sales, and executive leadership to align strategy with market needs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related technical field; advanced degree preferred
- 8+ years semiconductor industry experience, preferably in advanced packaging technologies
- Deep knowledge of semiconductor roadmaps including heterogeneous integration, hybrid bonding, and high-bandwidth memory
- Direct experience engaging with strategic semiconductor customers or technology partners
- Ability to translate technical information into actionable business recommendations
- Excellent executive communication and presentation skills
- Proven track record influencing cross-functional teams in matrixed environments
