Role Description The Outside Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Camden, NJ, focused on selling Mazza’s waste, recycling, and related services to commercial, industrial, and residential customers. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, conducting on-site visits, and delivering clear, compelling sales presentations tailored to customer needs. The role involves building and maintaining long-term client relationships, responding to inquiries, and providing consultative support to ensure customers receive appropriate, cost-effective solutions. This position also requires accurate quoting, contract follow-up, and coordination with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery. The Outside Sales Representative will track sales activities in company systems, meet or exceed sales targets, and represent Mazza professionally at local events, networking functions, and client meetings. Qualifications Demonstrated ability in Sales Presentations and New Business Development to effectively generate leads, pitch services, and close opportunities. Strong Relationship Building and Customer Service skills to maintain accounts, address concerns, and support long-term client satisfaction. Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences. Proven experience in outside or field sales, preferably in waste management, recycling, environmental services, or a related industrial sector. Comfort working on-site and in the field, including visiting customer locations and job sites in and around Camden, NJ. Valid driver’s license and a reliable means of transportation for regular client visits and territory coverage. Ability to meet sales goals, manage pipelines, and use CRM or similar tools to track prospects and accounts. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple opportunities and follow through on commitments.
