Job Description As a Security Officer - Parking Garage in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a residential location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to residents and visitors. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $24.39 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Wed04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Fri12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sat12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sun12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with a welcoming and professional residential environment. Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
