Maintain a professional and welcoming presence for residents, guests, and vendors. 2. Monitor building access points andmaintainawareness of building activity. 3. Conduct routine patrols of interior and exterior areas of the building. 4. Monitor surveillance cameras and building security systems. 5. Respond to emergencies and security concerns promptly and professionally. 6. Maintainaccurateshift logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports. 7. Assistwith package handling and vendor deliveries whenrequired. 8. Maintain control and documentation of building and concierge keys. 9. Identifyand report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or policy violations. 10. Coordinate with building management and property staff to support daily operations. 11. Enforce building policies whilemaintaininga calm and professional demeanor. 12. Maintain clear communication during shift transitions to ensure operational continuity. Security Officer Qualifications ValidNew York State Security Guard License. 8-Hour Pre-Assignment Training Certificate. 16-Hour On-the-Job Training Certificate. Prior experience inresidential security, corporate security, concierge security, or customer-facing security roles preferred. Strong communication and customer service skills. Professional appearance and polished demeanor. Ability to remain calm and exercise sound judgment in high-pressure situations.
