In Wellsville, NY, your day starts with a blueprint and ends with a finished part that hits spec the first time. As a Multi‑Axis CNC Programming & Machining Specialist, you’ll switch seamlessly between programming at the control, setting up workholding, dialing in feeds and speeds, and running multiple machines to keep production humming.

A day in this role

• Open the work order, review blueprints and GD&T, and plan the setup for lathes, mills, or a mill‑turn/twin‑turret job.
• Write or edit programs, manage file transfers, and set tool offsets—then run first articles and verify surface finish and tolerances.
• Keep machines productive: perform changeovers, resolve minor mechanical issues with tooling/fixturing, and validate dimensional accuracy.
• Juggle multiple machines when needed, monitoring cycle times and quality while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

What you bring

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience with proven programming, setup, and operation .
• Hands‑on experience across multiple platforms: CNC lathes, mills, multi‑axis, mill‑turn and/or twin‑turret machines.
• Shop math mastery—feeds/speeds, metric conversions—and the ability to read and interpret GD&T.
• Capability to hold tight tolerances and meet surface finish requirements.
• Basic computer/file transfer skills.
• Nice to have: Leadership/supervisory exposure, technical degree or machining certifications, and manual machining experience.

Compensation & benefits

• $45,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year depending on experience
