Supervisor Financial Planning and Analysis

Abbott's Cardiac Rhythm Management division seeks a Finance Supervisor for their Austin office to lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the US CRM Commercial organization. The role involves preparing financial reports, developing forecasts, building models, and providing data-driven insights to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries and financial reports during month-end close with variance analysis commentary
- Develop detailed operating expense and SG&A forecasts for quarterly planning cycles
- Build financial models and conduct analysis to support senior management decision-making
- Create executive presentations translating complex financial data into meaningful visuals
- Supervise summer interns and support cross-functional teams on ROI evaluation and problem diagnosis
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 6-8 years of finance and/or accounting experience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and variance analysis skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to quickly learn enterprise systems including SAP, Essbase, and PowerBI
Compensation: $86,700–$173,300 base
