Drive significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions, and apply deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of challenges that span multiple technologies and applications.Job responsibilities Writes advanced level code in Java to build cutting edge high through put low latency engineering solutionsRegularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendorsDevelops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by othersDrives decisions that influence the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processesActively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life CycleInfluences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologiesAdds to the team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respectRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experienceHands-on practical experience building low latency, high throughput server side python based software solutions.Advanced in Java and related programming languagesExperience with developing highly scalable, secure, and resilient applications utilizing Java, Spring Core, Spring Boot, REST APIs, JPA, Hibernate, Kubernetes, Docker, Swagger, and SkaffoldExcellent understanding of security standards, such as OAuth, TLS, JWT, Kerberos etc.Good understanding of Domain Driven Design, microservices patterns, and modern/emerging architecturesAgile software development experience is a mustProficiency with AIML Model development Familiarity with log/metric collection and monitoring technologies, such as ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana, AppDynamics, & Splunk is a plusProficiency with Python programming languageExpertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplinesExperience with modern microservices architecturePreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsExperience with even driven processing utilizing Kafka is a plusExperience with Cassandra or equivalent no-SQL databasesKnowledge of API managementAbility to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goal.Excellent verbal and written communicationExpertise with AWS services, such as S3, EKS, EC2, EMR Spark, AWS Glue, SageMaker, SQS, Lambda, Cloud Formation, and Terraform is highly desirableExperience with Flink stream processing is a big plusThis position is subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
