You will predominantly work on complex low latency Linux compute systems. The Role Compute & Storage: Designing, building and deploying compute and storage solutions. Linux Estate: Managing and monitoring a large-scale Linux environment. Project Work: Working extensively on projects related to compute and storage infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Compute Solutions: Design, build and deploy compute infrastructure. Storage Solutions: Managing petabyte-scale storage systems including GPFS, NFS, Weka. Linux Management: Monitoring and maintaining Linux systems. Observability: Using tools such as ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana to monitor systems. CI/CD: Working within CI/CD and Agile practices. Programming: Using Python, Go, or Rust for automation and development. Requirements Linux: Strong Linux experience. Configuration Management: Experience with Chef or Ansible. Storage Systems: Experience with GPFS, NFS, Weka. Programming: Some experience with Python, Go, or Rust. Observability: Familiarity with ELK, Prometheus, Grafana.
