MLR is seeking a compassionate and skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join our fast-paced and dedicated team. In this essential role, you will deliver high-quality care to patients in emergency situations, using your expertise and quick decision-making skills to make a meaningful impact on their lives.
Emergency Department RN Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program for nursing education, BSN preferred.
- Current licensure to practice professional nursing in the State of Ohio.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) certification required.
- Certification in specialty is preferred; other as noted below for specific units as indicated within 1 year of hire: ACLS and PALS required
Emergency Department RN Benefits
- Self-insured organization holding annual deductibles as low as $250 (single) and $500 (family). Once these yearly deductibles are met, all services are covered at 100%! Our client also has great retirement/pension benefits. If you put in 3% of your wages after a year of service and 1000 hours worked, you'd be eligible for an additional 3% and match 1.5% of your contributions for a total of 7.5%.

Emergency Department RN Job Summary
- Delivers both direct and indirect patient care to individuals of all ages in the Emergency Department, applying the nursing process for assessment, prioritization, and care planning. Utilizes critical thinking skills to ensure safe, high-quality, and age-appropriate care, while efficiently delegating tasks to support staff. Ensures accurate documentation and collaborates with the healthcare team, following organizational policies and regulatory standards.
