• Co-ops may be assigned to different areas of engineering and manufacturing throughout the co-op term to gain broader experience and support business needs.

• Work activities will require significant time on the production floor for project investigation, discovery, and execution.

• Provide technical support to assigned area(s).
• Support engineering and operations with activities focused on improving product quality and operational consistency.
• Develop and maintain organized project documentation for easy retrieval, review, and future reference.

Academic Requirements

• Be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Be pursuing a degree in a relevant field of study aligned with the available co-op/internship opportunity.
• Maintain a minimum 2.7 cumulative GPA after completion of the freshman year .
• Maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA beginning after the freshman year and for the remainder of participation in the program.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to a normal office environment and a plant environment. The employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and peripheral vision.

 

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn including but not limited to: eyes, ear, foot and/or other protective devices as required.
