We are seeking a hands-on Senior Solutions Architect / Principal Engineer who lives and breathes code and comes from a strong application engineering background. This is not a purely architectural role-we are looking for someone who has built software from scratch, understands modern system design deeply, and has successfully taken solutions into production.


This role focuses heavily on service decomposition, enterprise modernization, and next-generation architecture , including experience with MCP servers, agent-based systems, and Generative AI . You will lead the transformation of complex, distributed enterprise ecosystems into scalable, reusable, service-based platforms that are future-ready for AI-driven capabilities.


You'll operate in large, global environments where systems have evolved independently across teams and regions. Success in this role requires both deep technical expertise and a pragmatic, execution-driven mindset .

• Lead service rationalization and decomposition efforts across complex system landscapes
• Design and build PI-first, event-driven architectures that scale globally

• Enable service reuse through catalogs, standards, and governance models
• Drive legacy modernization using incremental strategies (e.g., strangler pattern)

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS (top 3 must haves)

1. Deep Engineering & Architecture Expertise (Execution-Focused)

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, architecture, or platform engineering within large-scale enterprise environments
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Microservices & service-oriented architecture
  • PI design (REST, GraphQL)
  • Event-driven systems (Kafka or similar messaging platforms)
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Proven ability to operate across:
  • Hands-on coding and prototyping
  • rchitecture design and system modeling
  • Guiding and influencing engineering teams
• Demonstrated track record of delivering working, production-ready solutions , not just conceptual designs

2. Service Decomposition, Modernization & Platform Transformation

• Strong experience with:
  • Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
  • Service decomposition and capability modeling
  • Distributed data architectures and integration patterns
• Hands-on experience:
  • Breaking down monoliths or fragmented systems into reusable services
  • Building shared service layers across teams and domains
  • Implementing strangler pattern and incremental modernization strategies
• Proven ability to design systems that prioritize:
  • Reuse across teams and regions
  • Clear service boundaries and ownership
  • Long-term scalability and maintainability

3. MCP Servers, Generative AI & Agent-Based Systems

• Hands-on experience building and deploying MCP server-based architectures and Gen AI agents from scratch through production
• Strong understanding of how to design systems for an gentic/AI-driven ecosystem

  • Integrate AI capabilities into service-based architectures
  • Design services consumable by agents, automation workflows, and external platforms
  • Build future-ready systems with clean contracts and data models to support AI innovation

NICE TO HAVES

• Deep expertise with tools like Claude Code or similar AI-assisted development platforms
• Experience building service catalogs, registries, or internal developer platforms
• Exposure to multi-region, post-acquisition, or highly distributed system environments
• Strong background in platform engineering or internal tooling ecosystems
• Experience enabling I/automation workflows at scale within enterprise systems

1. Strong Engineering & Architecture Execution (10+ years)

• Deep hands-on experience building and delivering production-grade systems in enterprise environments
• Expertise in microservices, APIs (REST/GraphQL), event-driven architecture (Kafka), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Proven ability to move between architecture design, hands-on coding, and leading engineering teams with a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset

2. Service Decomposition & Enterprise Modernization

• Strong experience with domain-driven design (DDD), service decomposition, and distributed system design
• Hands-on track record breaking down monoliths/fragmented systems into reusable service layers
• Experience leading modernization efforts using incremental approaches (e.g., strangler pattern) with a focus on reuse, scalability, and clean service boundaries

3. MCP Servers & Gen AI / Agent-Based Systems

• Proven experience building MCP server-based solutions and Gen AI agents from concept through production
• Strong understanding of designing systems for an gentic, AI-driven ecosystem
