Heavy Equipment & Load Out Lead
Pay: $30-$36/hour
Schedule: 4 On / 4 Off
Hours: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Are you an experienced operator ready to step into a leadership role? Didion is seeking a Heavy Equipment & Load Out Lead to provide hands-on leadership while working alongside the team to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
This is a working lead position responsible for coordinating rail yard, truck loading, bulk loadout, and heavy equipment activities while supporting team development, troubleshooting operational challenges, and driving continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
- Lead by example and promote a strong safety culture
- Coordinate daily loadout, rail yard, and heavy equipment operations
- Train, coach, and support operators
- Troubleshoot operational and equipment issues
- Conduct railcar and trailer inspections
- Partner with Maintenance to improve equipment reliability
- Support quality, food safety, and customer expectations
- Communicate priorities and keep operations running smoothly throughout the shift

- Previous leadership or lead operator experience
- Experience coaching or training others
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively across departments
- Basic computer skills
