Recruiting Coordinator - Job Overview The Recruiting Coordinator is a key member of a growing Recruiting team, supporting the end-to-end recruiting process. This hybrid position (in‑office and remote) is based in Washington, DC. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of interview scheduling, coordinating multiple interviews, stakeholders, and complex logistics in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment. Support recruiters by editing and refining job descriptions and postings, ensuring consistency across materials; submit job requisitions in Workday for approval; and manage posting/unposting of roles in Workday under recruiter guidance. Maintain close coordination with recruiters by providing timely updates and ensuring transparency across interview‑related activities. Manage written and verbal communication with candidates, recruiters, interviewers, and hiring managers throughout the interview process. Support recruiters in reviewing candidate resumes and dispositioning candidates. Ensure candidate records and statuses are up‑to‑date in ATS (Workday) and in tracking spreadsheets. Assist with administrative side projects and initiatives and other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum two (2) years of recruiting coordinator experience; experience in a professional services environment preferred. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage a high volume of competing priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to convey complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders. Demonstrated business acumen, mature judgment, and professional presence when communicating with senior leadership. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel). Self‑starter who can operate independently and manage responsibilities with minimal oversight. Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills, ability to navigate ambiguity and resolve issues quickly. Sense of urgency and follow‑through to meet tight deadlines. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion; proactive in raising concerns when processes are not followed. Experience using an Applicant Tracking System; Workday or Jobvite experience preferred. Salary Range: $55,000 – $70,000 per year.
