Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care Float

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for an Acute Care Float position. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care across various departments as needed, ensuring patient comfort and safety while adapting to diverse healthcare environments.

The position requires availability for night shifts, working from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, including a 30-minute lunch break for a total of 12 hours. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.

Patient ratios may vary according to departmental needs, generally maintaining a standard of 1:6.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable acuity hospital.

Must possess an active, unencumbered RN license in Tennessee or a multi-state RN license.

BLS certification is required.

Cerner EMR experience is mandatory.

First-time travelers are considered for this position.

The RN will float between various medical units, including but not limited to:

• Medical Comfort Care
• Surgery and GI
• Trauma
• Medical
• Observation
• Oncology
• Medical Nephrology
• Ortho
• Joint Replacement/Ortho
• Neuro
• Vascular
• Pulmonary
• Cardiac Surgery
• Cardiac

Uniform requirements include wearing royal blue scrubs.
