About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:45 - 07:15) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a comparable acuity hospital required License: Must have an active unencumbered RN license Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Cerner EMR experience Description: Acute Care Float position. Assigned by the nursing supervisor at the time staffing assignments are made. Shift hours are from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM with a 30-minute lunch. Patient ratios vary according to need, typically around 1:6. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. Must have experience in Cerner EMR. No on-call requirements for this position. Travel experience is preferred but not required. Must have the ability to float between various units as needed. Special requirements include adherence to specific protocols for patient care. References are required prior to employment.
