Job Overview The Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) Instructor is responsible for providing quality instruction to students that meet the program and course objectives. The instructor should maintain an organized, disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning and impart the requirements of the relevant workplace setting to all students. Credentials and Experience At least four (4) years of experience as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. Active RDMS certification in two of the following three specialties: Abdomen, OB/GYN or RVT – must be in good standing. A minimum of an AA/AS degree from an accredited college. Employment Status Adjunct, hourly, non-exempt. Adjunct faculty hours are determined by scheduled courses in a particular module; hours are generally under 25 per week.
