Nuclear Medicine Tech Full Time

Nuclear Med Tech Opportunity in Brooklyn, NY

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced nuclear med tech for a permanent role with an area healthcare client in Brooklyn, NY where you will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team and be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operating radiation detection and imaging equipment.

Minimum Requirements

• An associate or bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology.
• State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine in New York.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience operating nuclear medicine and PET imaging equipment.
• Experience preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals according to regulatory and safety standards.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and use of radiation detection equipment.
• Ability to work in an outpatient imaging environment.
• Customer service and communication skills for patient interaction.
• 1 year experience preferred as a nuclear med tech.
