Accounting/Bookkeeper

O2 Employment Services is working with a reputable company to find their next Accounting/Bookkeeper. This position is based in Redding, CA. Compensation $20 - $22 per hour Vision, dental, and medical insurance offered through O2 Company perks PTO, 401k matching, and full benefits after 1 year of employment Part‑time – 20 to 32 hours a week Qualifications Previous experience in accounts payable or general accounting REQUIRED QuickBooks experience REQUIRED Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook required) and accounting software Excellent organizational and time‑management skills Ability to handle confidential information with integrity Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Responsibilities Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner Match purchase orders, invoices, and receipts for accuracy Prepare and process check runs, ACH, and wire payments Maintain vendor files and ensure proper documentation for audits Reconcile monthly statements and resolve discrepancies with vendors Assist with month‑end closing and reporting related to accounts payable Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment issues Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
