Our consultants work directly with government clients to improve business and acquisition processes, deliver tailored solutions, and help bring critical technology and communications systems to the Navy fleet.

Employment is contingent upon obtaining and maintaining an active security clearance. Non-U.S. citizens are ineligible. The adjudication process evaluates overall reliability and trustworthiness, including adherence to federal laws prohibiting marijuana use (recreational, medical, or CBD).

Position Type: Full-time, salaried with benefits

Salary Range: $95,000-$130,000

Hours: 40 per week, Monday-Friday

Travel: < 10%

Location: San Diego, CA (onsite)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Financial Management Analyst/Consultant to support PEO C4I / NAVWAR Command clients in San Diego, CA. This role involves delivering high ? impact financial management and accounting support to U.S. government clients. You will work both independently and collaboratively within a consulting team, supporting day ? to ? day financial operations and long ? term strategic planning.

Key Focus Areas

• Supporting complex Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) and programmatic initiatives
• Developing, executing, and monitoring DoD budgets and annual financial spend plans
• Conducting account reconciliations, variance analyses, financial tracking, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Advising client leadership on critical financial and operational decisions

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain accurate financial data in government systems (e.g., Navy ERP, Standard Procurement System, and successor systems)
• Assist with budget formulation, cost management, and variance analysis
• Measure organizational performance and assess program and policy impacts on funding
• Research financial and economic trends affecting program execution and spending
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and guidelines governing budget formulation and execution
• Manage multiple funding types and coordinate with cross?functional stakeholders
• Prepare and brief financial reports, budgets, analyses, and executive?level summaries
• Develop recommendations and courses of action (COAs) to resolve financial issues
• Interpret and apply financial management policies, regulations, and strategic objectives

• Experience using data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Familiarity with Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N?ERP) preferred

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• 7+ years of Navy/DoD financial management or relevant federal consulting experience
• Strongly preferred: Department of the Navy (DoN) experience, including accounting, consulting, finance, NAVWAR financial systems, and PPBE processes
• Ability to obtain a SECRET government security clearance (TS/SCI may be required for certain projects)
• Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) certification preferred
