As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escape in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc. What’s In It For You Site Location: Reno and Sparks, NV Set schedule: Two 12 hours shifts, two 8 hours shifts. Saturday & Sunday: Reno/Monday & Tuesday: Sparks. Shift hours vary! To be discussed during the interview. Competitive hourly wage of $20.91 to $23.00 per hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!) Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld. Uniform provided at no cost. Responsibilities of Surveillance Security Guard Excellent customer service is always your top priority. You observe, survey the area, and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location. You provide rapid response in critical situations. You patrol the areas by car and on your feet. You are able to stand and handle the weather while conducting vital foot/car patrols interior/exterior throughout your shift. You’re good with reading and writing detailed reports. You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations, and client standards. You protect the safety of employees and goods from theft through effective screening, bag searches, wanding, and other procedures, providing vital access control. Your attention to detail may be rewarded through incentives to be discussed during the interview. Qualifications of a Surveillance Security Guard You have at least a high school diploma or GED. You keep your word and are a true professional. If you have security, military, or law enforcement experience – even better. You have a valid driver’s license. You can travel between the two cities to fulfill your duties. You have a valid PILB. You are at least 21 years old. You can stand, walk, sit, and handle the weather throughout your shift. You have a strong work ethic.
