The officer is responsible for responding promptly and effectively to emergencies, including potential threats or incidents requiring the use of force within legal and ethical guidelines. Minimum Qualifications Valid state‑issued armed security officer license or permit as required by local regulations. Completion of required firearms training and certification. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings. Physical fitness to perform patrol duties and respond to emergencies. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience as an armed security officer or in law enforcement. Additional certifications in first aid, CPR, or emergency response. Familiarity with security technology and surveillance systems. Strong communication and conflict resolution skills. Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to monitor for suspicious activity or security risks. Respond immediately to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, following established protocols and reporting procedures. Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations. Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary to manage security situations. Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining professionalism and respect in all interactions. Operate security equipment such as surveillance cameras, radios, and alarm systems effectively.
