Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist with NICU experience to join our dedicated team. The Respiratory Therapist provides treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies such as asthma, pneumonia, and emphysema. You will work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate closely with other health care professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care and treatment to patients with respiratory conditions.
• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Utilize equipment such as Servo I ventilators, nebulizers, Hamilton V60, Astral CPAP & BIPAP machines, and ABGs.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Meditech EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff effectively for enhanced patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have NICU experience.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• 2 years of current acute care hospital Respiratory Therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with trauma care is a plus.
• Meditech experience is preferred.
