Role Snapshot As a full-time Biller in Humble, TX, you will support accurate billing workflows that keep patient accounts current and revenue moving reliably. This position exists to ensure clean, compliant claim activity and clear follow-up with payers and patients. Key responsibilities Prepare and submit professional medical claims and related billing documentation Verify insurance coverage and demographics; resolve discrepancies Post and reconcile payments, adjustments, and denials; pursue timely follow-up Set up payment arrangements, monitor aging, and pursue delinquent balances Maintain thorough notes, productivity, and legal compliance standards Required qualifications/skills Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management Clear communication, customer service, and phone professionalism Critical thinking, conflict resolution, and ability to work under stress Solid computer skills, documentation habits, and general math skills Familiarity with coding concepts is helpful Benefits Package We offer Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage, plus a 401(k) plan and Life Insurance—support designed to help you stay protected while you build long-term stability. A Typical Workday Your onsite day runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm. You’ll spend the morning reviewing queues, checking payer portals, and keeping billing items moving in a prioritized order. Midday often includes calls to confirm insurance details, discuss balances, or clarify next steps with patients and carriers—keeping communication calm, clear, and well-documented. In the afternoon, you’ll work through follow-ups tied to physician services across offices and rounding locations (hospitals, nursing homes, and other facilities), then wrap up by updating notes and preparing the next day’s workload.
