About the Role:

The Hand-Packing Operator plays a critical role in ensuring that products are carefully and accurately packed by hand to meet quality standards and customer specifications. This position requires meticulous attention to detail to maintain product integrity and prevent damage during packaging. The operator will work closely with production teams to meet daily packing quotas while adhering to safety and hygiene protocols. This role contributes directly to the efficiency of the supply chain by preparing products for shipment in a timely manner. Ultimately, the Hand-Packing Operator helps uphold the company’s reputation for delivering high-quality products to customers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks with precision and care.
• Basic understanding of safety and hygiene standards in a production environment.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as required.
• Good communication skills to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a hand-packing or assembly role within a manufacturing or distribution setting.
• Familiarity with inventory management and labeling systems.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures and standards.
• Ability to operate basic packaging tools and equipment.
• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manually pack products according to specified guidelines and quality standards.
• Inspect products for defects or inconsistencies before packing to ensure only quality items are shipped.
• Label and seal packages accurately to facilitate proper identification and tracking.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to comply with safety and sanitation requirements.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets and resolve any packing issues.

Skills:

The required skills such as attention to detail and manual dexterity are essential for accurately packing products and ensuring quality control on a daily basis. Communication skills enable the operator to understand instructions clearly and coordinate with team members to maintain workflow efficiency.
