Criminal Justice InstructorProvide in-person/FLEX or online instruction for Criminal Justice courses. FLEX instruction allows students to choose on a daily basis whether to attend in-person or virtually through the D2L Brightspace virtual classroom.Minimum QualificationsM.A. In Criminal Justice; or J. D.; or M. A. in Sociology/M. A. in Political Science/M.A. in Public Administration/M.A in Psychology with relevant work experience.Previous college teaching experience in the field.Previous online instruction required where appropriate.Commitment to teaching a student body diverse in ability, age, ethnicity, race, and sexual orientation.Must successfully pass a criminal background check.Supplemental InformationPreferred Qualifications: Previous experience with D2L Brightspace or other Learning Management systems preferred.Status/Salary: This is a part-time faculty position with a salary to be determined by placement on the adjunct faculty salary schedule.Beginning Date: August, 2026Application Deadline: Until filledApplication Procedure: Submit letter of application, resume, and transcripts to ssc.edu/jobs South Suburban College
