Job Summary

Join the dedicated team at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, New York, as an Imaging Services Registered Nurse. This professional position is pivotal in coordinating comprehensive outpatient and inpatient services across our Main, East, and Cayuga Park campuses. You will play a crucial role in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care provided to patients undergoing various imaging procedures.

This dynamic role requires a skilled RN to function as a procedure nurse while supporting the clinical needs of all patients utilizing our Imaging services. Responsibilities include pre-admission nursing assessments, testing coordination, direct patient care, and post-procedure evaluation. The Imaging RN also serves as a vital link between the hospital and physicians, ensuring seamless coordination of care across modalities such as CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine, and contributing to specialized patient navigation programs like Breast Biopsy and Lung Navigation.
