Long term contract full stack .NET, will get training on sitecore. Does not need to know JAVA, but be able to communicate with JAVA developer & understand their lingo. .net position that will become a site core developer, sitecore is target platform. will give them sitecore training, full stack development within sitecore, building tables, front end/back end work. backend ALL in JAVA, in the sitecore backend will still be.NET, making webservice calls, communicating to JAVA developer--do not need to know JAVA, just understand what the developers are saying. Enhancements, bug fixes, upgraded to sitecore 10.Essential Job FunctionsWorks with a positive attitude to motivate others and achieve desired results.Determines what and how technologies shall be used inside of a project.Enforces security standards, determines technical risks within the project and creates plans to minimize that risk.Manages non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, availability & security).Ensures technical documentation is updated with any new functionality.Collaborate with developers, BSA, testing, database, security, operations, and support teams to guarantee a shared vision and successful production implementations, integrations, and transitions.Makes sure all developed code, 3rd party libraries, and selected technologies are compliant with Enterprise Architecture standards and road map.Ensures project application design is reviewed and approved by Enterprise Architecture.Maintains the quality of delivered projects through code reviews, coding standards and design principles through continuous integration, unit testing and automated testing where reasonable.Recognizes issues with meeting scheduled deliverable dates and notifies the appropriate management in advance of missing deadlines.Develops project work plans for software development effort, develops and utilizes re-usable solutions across applications.Applies SDLC methodology techniques consistent with enterprise guidelines.Minimum QualificationsDemonstrated knowledge of ASP.NET MVC application development, procedures, SDLC, System architecture, as evidenced by documented experience.Working knowledge of various SDLC's and a robust technical knowledge as it relates to applications, and COTS packages, risk assessment, and contingency planning.General knowledge of both Windows and Unix based platforms, relational database management systems, web servers, e-commerce, general systems design, implementation, and operation.Demonstrated organization, people, and business management skills.Demonstrated experience of creating, implementing, and supporting business applications.Experience in requirements gathering and interpreting user requirements.Experience in developing and writing analytical and technical documents and updating technical documentation.Experience in developing business applications and troubleshooting in an object-oriented environment with emphasis on ASP.NET MVC, C#, and the Entity Framework.Experience in RESTful API development using Web API.Experience in database development using a database such as SQL Server or Mongo DB.Experience in Front end development using JavaScript, CSS, Angular and Bootstrap.Five years’ (5) of hands-on experience in analysis and resolution of complex problems.Detailed verbal, written and interpersonal skills; work effectively with customers and IT management and staff, including networking, managing conflict, valuing diversity, etc.Ability to interpret design documents and technical specifications to develop code.Able to work in a collaborative environment or with limited direction.Ability to lead a team of developers of diverse skill levels to produce concrete results.Ability to analyze complex processes and understand project technical issues and their impact on the agency and other enterprise applications.Demonstrated abilities in developing and reviewing applications, standards, policies, and procedures.Preferred QualificationsCollege Degree in Information Technology or Information Systems, and 4 years of considerable experience as an Application Developer or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience as a team lead is desired.
