In an era of climate change, resource depletion, and social inequality, we aim to ensure safety, security, and environmental stability for all.Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.This role is hands-on and execution-focused, with responsibility for virtualization, storage, and hybrid cloud platforms (AWS and Azure). The ideal candidate has VMware experience, strong infrastructure fundamentals, and the ability to contribute to cloud modernization initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and support VMware vSphere environments (ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS)Perform lifecycle management including upgrades, patching, and capacity planningTroubleshoot performance issues across compute and hypervisor layersSupport high availability and disaster recovery configurationsAdminister enterprise SAN/NAS environments (iSCSI, Fiber Channel)Manage storage provisioning, replication, snapshots, and backupsSupport hybrid cloud connectivity between on-prem and public cloudDeploy and manage AWS and Azure infrastructure servicesAssist with VM migrations and cloud optimization initiativesImplement IAM/RBAC controls and cost governance practicesAutomate infrastructure tasks using scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python)Contribute to infrastructure-as-code efforts (Terraform, Ansible preferred)Participate in monitoring and observability initiativesProvide Tier 3 escalation support for complex incidentsMaintain clear documentation and technical standardsServe as a senior technical advisor during incident response, complex problem resolution, and risk assessmentsRequired Qualifications7+ years of progressive infrastructure engineering experienceStrong hands-on expertise with:VMware enterprise environmentsEnterprise storage systemsAWS and/or AzureSolid understanding of:Networking fundamentals (VLANs, routing, firewalls)Backup and disaster recovery principlesHybrid cloud architectureStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsPreferred QualificationsNutanix HCI experienceLinux experienceVMware (VCP) certificationAWS or Azure certificationsExposure to Kubernetes or container platformJob SummaryRequisition Number: SRSYS001657Job Category: Information Systems \& TechnologySchedule: Full-Time
