The Senior Social Media Strategy & Growth Manager will turn high-level social media priorities into clear, executable projects and scalable growth initiatives.
You’ll work across social publishing, brand development, video, and platform expansion to accelerate execution and audience growth.
The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on ownership, from developing concepts and briefs to launching, optimizing, and scaling content.
You’ll help expand established brands across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X while identifying new opportunities for growth.
A major focus will be building repeatable systems, workflows, and content formats that make successful ideas easier to scale.
You’ll use audience and performance data to guide experimentation, improve underperforming initiatives, and share actionable insights.

Accountabilities

• Translate broad social media priorities into structured project plans with clear owners, timelines, deliverables, and success metrics.
• Own selected initiatives end-to-end, from initial concept and planning through launch, optimization, and handover.
• Coordinate cross-functional work across social publishing, brand development, video, and platform expansion teams.
• Maintain visibility into project status, deadlines, blockers, risks, and next steps while proactively resolving execution gaps.
• Develop practical workflows, documentation, reporting structures, and operating systems that improve consistency, accountability, and execution speed.
• Develop and execute expansion strategies for brands across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, and other relevant platforms.
• Identify the brands, audiences, content formats, and concepts best suited to individual platforms and build platform-native strategies rather than relying on simple content repurposing.
• Launch new social accounts, brands, content formats, and recurring series from the ground up, establishing positioning, audience definitions, content pillars, and repeatable formats.
• Create systems for transferring successful concepts, formats, and learnings from one platform or brand to others.
• Partner with video leadership to develop content concepts, recurring formats, series, and scalable content franchises.
• Contribute hands-on to ideation, scripting, hooks, titles, thumbnails, content packaging, and initial prototypes.
• Turn strategic ideas into clear, actionable briefs for creators, editors, and social media managers.
• Review performance across platforms, brands, campaigns, projects, and content formats, identifying trends and opportunities.
• Build structured testing plans and translate audience and performance data into clear recommendations and next actions.
• Share insights across the wider social media organization and help improve underperforming projects, formats, and initiatives.
• Monitor relevant trends, news, internet culture, and audience opportunities and respond quickly when hands-on execution is required.
• Provide concise updates on project progress, performance, risks, learnings, and recommended next steps.
• Help establish scalable systems that allow successful initiatives to transition smoothly to the appropriate teams for ongoing execution.

Requirements

• Significant experience growing organic audiences for social-first media brands, digital publishers, or comparable content-driven businesses.
• Strong working knowledge of multiple major social platforms, ideally including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X.
• Demonstrated ability to turn loosely defined ideas into structured projects with clear execution plans and measurable outcomes.
• Strong project ownership and operational follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Proven hands-on content creation experience; this role requires more than strategy or people management alone.
• Experience launching new social brands, accounts, platforms, content formats, or recurring content series.
• Strong understanding of internet culture, entertainment, gaming, fandom, and trend-driven publishing.
• Experience developing video concepts, scripts, hooks, titles, thumbnails, recurring formats, or other content packaging.
• Excellent creative judgment combined with a strong analytical understanding of audience and content performance.
• Ability to coordinate effectively across multiple teams, stakeholders, owners, and functional areas.
• Experience using analytics and reporting tools to evaluate performance, identify trends, and inform strategic decisions.
• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to create clear project plans, creative briefs, documentation, and stakeholder updates.
• Highly organized, proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working independently within a remote environment.
• Experience working within a social-first media company or digital publishing environment is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of Facebook organic publishing and monetization is highly desirable.
