Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and image quality. Responsible for preparing patients, operating imaging equipment, and collaborating with medical staff to support accurate diagnoses.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and providing physical support as needed.
• Position patients and equipment to obtain clear, high-quality images such as X-rays, mammograms, or CT scans.
• Monitor radiation safety protocols and apply shielding to minimize exposure for patients and staff.
• Review images to ensure technical quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain detailed patient records and images within electronic systems.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to determine appropriate imaging procedures and follow-up needs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of radiologic technologist experience in diagnostic imaging.
• ARRT certification required.
• Proven ability to position patients accurately and operate imaging equipment efficiently.
• Strong understanding of radiation safety practices and protocols.
• Excellent communication skills to explain procedures and address patient questions.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
