B. QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in a behavioral health or Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities related field. Master's level or higher preferred.
Minimum Experience: Four years' experience in the behavioral health field or Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities with at least one-year supervisory experience required for staff with bachelor's degree. Two years' experience required for staff with master's degree.
- Qualifications for a Developmental Disabilities Professional is preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills required.
- Experience in shift scheduling preferred.
- Experience in accounting/bookkeeping procedures preferred.
- Valid Georgia Drivers' License required.
- EQUIPMENT THAT REQUIRES SAFE AND EFFECTIVE USE:
(Include emergency equipment, treatment equipment and high-risk equipment)
Computer, printer, calculator, fax machine, telephone, copy machine, 15 passenger van, fire extinguisher, wheelchairs and other consumer adaptive equipment, ability to lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds.

The goal of Aspire BHDD is to continually improve the delivery of service by improvement of consumer outcomes and satisfaction. All employees have a role in performance improvement and are expected to interact collaboratively with co-workers, and other contacts to provide consistent, high-quality, consumer focused services.
G. AGE RELATED AND SPECIAL NEEDS OF POPULATION SERVEDWork requires the knowledge and skills necessary to provide direct services appropriate to Developmental Disabilities whose ages range from 18 to 65+.
Staff should be able to:
a. Demonstrate knowledge and skill in non-violent crisis intervention techniques.
b. Display knowledge of agency, community, and institutional resources and referral processes.
c. Assist consumers and staff in appropriate goal setting and implementation of the treatment plan; display knowledge of discharge planning
d. Display knowledge of HFR, ASO, CARF, and AACSB compliance requirements.
H. ASSIGNED DUTIES
The Residential Care Coordinator supports daily residential operations for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Working under limited supervision, this role oversees person-centered plans, trains staff, and helps protect each individual's health, safety, dignity, well-being, and rights.
- Provide day-to-day oversight of home operations.
- Monitor person-centered plans and train staff to implement them.
- Ensure services meet each individual's physical, social, and developmental needs.
- Promote and protect each individual's health, safety, dignity, well-being, and rights.
INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT AND COORDINATION:
- Serve as a liaison and advocate to support involvement in services, community activities, and independent living skill development.
- Maintain clear communication with individuals served, families, staff, and community partners.
- Oversee medical, medication, and health-related needs, and communicate issues as appropriate.
- Implement and follow up on support service recommendations.
SUPERVISION AND TRAINING:
- Supervise assigned staff through evaluations, development planning, and disciplinary action as needed.
- Serve as Developmental Disabilities Professional (DDP) by providing oversight and required quarterly reviews.
- Maintain staffing, schedules, leave coverage, and emergency/on-call rotations to support program operations.
- Review time and attendance records and ensure schedules are posted in each home.
- Arrange staff training and support development through instruction, role modeling, and guidance.
- Monitor documentation for compliance, present agency policies, and help interview and hire staff.
- Keep the supervisor informed of staffing, scheduling, budgeting, incidents, and licensing compliance.
ACCOUNTABILITY AND REPORTING:
- Complete and submit required reports on schedule.
- Review reports, logs, correspondence, and requests, and maintain organized files.
- Assist with residential financial procedures in accordance with agency policy.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with other departments to communicate individual and program needs in a timely manner.

- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Normal hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM. However, flexibility is required to work various day, evening, night, and weekend shifts when needed. May be necessary to participate in emergency call rotation or cover shift if adequate coverage cannot be obtained by direct care staff.
$14 per hour
