Registered Nurse - NICU (Night Shift)

Night shift from 19:00 to 07:00, 3x12-hour shifts.

Job Description

Looking for a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse with experience in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to neonates, particularly those requiring level 3 or 4 NICU services. This role requires adaptability and willingness to float between departments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to neonates in a high-acuity setting.
• Utilize advanced respiratory support techniques, including nitric oxide, jet ventilation, and oscillator ventilation.
• Ensure effective monitoring and assessment of patient conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans.
• Participate in unit activities, contributing to continuous quality improvement within the NICU.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Washington State Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) is required.
• Must have at least 2 years of experience in NICU level 3 or 4.
• Certification in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS required.
• Experience with high frequency jet ventilation and oscillating ventilators strongly preferred.
