Calculate key metrics (liquidity, leverage, profitability, DSCR as applicable) and summarize trends and variances for reviewer consideration. Gather, organize, and validate required underwriting information for new and renewal requests; identify missing items early and communicate gaps to the lender/credit team. Draft and assemble sections of the bank’s credit memorandum, including clear identification of repayment sources, key strengths/weaknesses, and requested terms for senior review. Support collateral and secondary support review by summarizing available information (appraisal highlights, lien position, basic borrowing base information if applicable) and elevating concerns/questions. Support portfolio monitoring by maintaining financial reporting and covenant/borrowing base ticklers as assigned; document follow-up actions and exceptions per process. This role is responsible for preparing accurate and timely credit documentation, spreading financial statements, and supporting senior analysts and lenders in underwriting activities.
