Like many of the team's favorite restaurants in Hong Kong, Tiger Fork emphasizes family-style plates and the communal dining experience.We are looking for a PM Line Cook who can assist to ensure quality, consistency, sanitation, and leadership. Open availability is preferred, weekend availability a must.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Work in a fast-paced kitchen and be able to handle rigors of busy services while also maintaining quality and consistency of dishesSet up and stocking stations with all necessary suppliesSupport other areas of the kitchen as needed, and be able and willing to assist teammates in the restaurant as needed, including handling duties of other stationsMaintain clean, sanitized, and organized workstation during each shift, while observing internal and regulatory (health, fire department, etc.) guidelines at all timesPrepare station for service (setup, food prep)Overseeing that line cooks prep, clean, and stock stations pre- and post-serviceProper maintenance of wokMinimize waste of productRotates product according to "First In, First Out"Clean work area, equipment, utensils, and dishesAssist in training new personnel in proper procedures and guidelinesRequirements include:At least 2 years of relevant restaurant experience preferredGenuine passion for cooking, restaurant hospitality, and learning new skillsStrong communication, leadership, and collaborative skillsHighly organized, productive, and able to work meticulously in a high-intensity kitchen/work environmentEnergetic and friendly personality, with strong willingness and ability to work as part of a cohesive team and support colleagues regardless of rolePhysical demands include:Must be able to frequently stand, walk, bend, squat and reach shoulder levelMust be comfortable working in an environment with exposure to hot temperaturesMust be able to life/carry up to 40 lbsMust be able to stand for 8 hours at a timeBilingual in Spanish and English is a plus!
