Digital Media Assistant
The Digital Media Assistant helps the Library by converting archival media into new formats, creating and uploading digital content, and supporting audio-visual production for events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Convert media files into archival and playback formats.
- Upload and organize digital files for community access.
- Support the creation of new digital content for online use.
- Assist the audio-visual team with setup and tech support at events.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Basic computer and file management skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow repetitive tasks.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong interest in learning and using audio and video editing software.
- Ability to set up video, sound, and lighting equipment.
