This position offers a flexible start date and the opportunity to work with a collaborative pediatric care team in a dynamic clinical setting. Candidates with cardiac experience or pediatric cardiology exposure are strongly preferred, though qualified pediatric physician assistants with relevant experience are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive patient care, assessments, and treatment support for pediatric patients under physician supervision and within scope of practice Evaluate and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions while maintaining accurate clinical documentation Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure continuity and quality of patient care Monitor patient progress and assist in adjusting treatment plans as clinically appropriate Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and healthcare staff regarding patient care plans and outcomes Support pediatric patients with cardiac-related conditions when applicable and coordinate specialty care as needed Maintain compliance with facility policies, quality standards, and patient safety protocols Qualifications Active Texas Physician Assistant license required Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) preferred/required based on facility requirements Experience working as a Pediatric Physician Assistant in hospital, outpatient, or clinical settings Cardiac experience preferred, including familiarity with pediatric cardiac conditions or cardiology-related care Strong clinical judgment and ability to work effectively in collaborative healthcare environments Excellent communication and patient care skills Schedule & Assignment Details 3 x 12-hour shifts per week Flexible start date following a 30-60 day credentialing process 12 or 24-week assignment options available Competitive hourly compensation ranging from $150-$160/hour Why Join Us?
