Provide emergency room call coverage as needed. Manage a typical caseload of approximately 15-20 post-operative patients per clinic day. Participate in complex procedures, including Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG), thoracotomies, lobectomies, AAA repairs, arterial bypasses, and aortic valve replacements. Collaborate with a dedicated team of cardiovascular surgeons and APPs. Assist with clinic visits and follow-up care. What You Need Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Louisiana. Experience in cardiothoracic surgery, critical care, or similar setting preferred. Strong clinical skills in surgical patient management. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication and organizational skills. About the Assignment Join a highly regarded team performing approximately 90 surgeries and procedures monthly in a busy cardiovascular surgery program.
