What You ll Do

• Provide inpatient rounding and surgical consults in a cardiothoracic surgery setting
• Assist with procedures such as CABG, VATS, thoracotomies, lobectomies, AAA repairs, arterial bypasses, and valve replacements
• Cover emergency room calls as needed
• Participate in clinic activities, seeing approximately 15-20 post-op patients weekly
• Collaborate with a team of 2 surgeons and 3 advanced practice providers
• Contribute to a surgical volume of roughly 90 procedures per month

What You Need
Required:

• Active state license as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
• Surgical or cardiothoracic experience preferred
• Strong assessment and surgical assisting skills
• Ability to handle inpatient and emergency calls

Preferred:

• Prior experience in cardiothoracic or vascular surgeries
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
