Salary Competitive salary starting at $31.00 per hour (pay based on years of experience) Sign‑on bonus available up to $10,000 – Full‑Time only At WellNow Urgent Care, you’ll also enjoy: Generous PTO and parental leave No on‑call responsibilities or overnight shifts required Continuing education, training, and growth opportunities Medical benefits: vision coverage, FSA/HSA options, and prescription drug coverage 401(k) plan with company match Free urgent care visits for you and your immediate family Scrubs provided Opportunities for promotional growth as we expand Annual license renewal reimbursement Job Responsibilities Start up and shut down all X‑ray equipment Proper identification of patient and confirmation of ordered examination Travel to designated locations within the assigned region to perform X‑ray exams in the order they were received Handle company fleet vehicle responsibilities (gas, daily checklist and logs) Monitor communication venue and stay in contact with teams Prepare patients for radiological procedures and conduct X‑rays following established safety procedures Obtain detailed patient history and note observations during examination Use radiation protection and shielding materials properly Ensure radiology equipment functions appropriately and report malfunctions to Lead Radiologic Technologist Complete radiologic procedures in EMR and note for billing Obtain pre‑authorization from insurance for CT scans Confirm X‑ray exam in PACS and ensure report is in the patient’s chart Clarify discrepancies in radiology readings with the medical provider Clean and stock the site with team members Participate in quality control and assurance program Perform basic medical assisting and occupational medicine technician duties, including greeting, registering patients, and triaging calls Minimum Experience Requirements Mastery of best‑practice X‑ray procedures and protocols Understanding of anatomy and physiology for X‑ray testing, including body mechanics and patient movement Knowledge of radiology equipment and common safety hazards Ability to identify equipment issues and troubleshoot Capacity to apply written instructions and standardized protocols Friendly and outstanding customer service skills Strong critical thinking skills Basic computer skills, including use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Minimum Education and Licensing Requirements Minimum high school degree or equivalent Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, or current student graduating within 4‑6 months (offer contingent on graduation and obtaining required certifications/licensures) Active ARRT certification and registration Applicable state licensure (as required) Active driver’s license WellNow is an EOE.
