Senior Network Architect

Nightwing brings disruptive technologies, agility, and competitive offerings to customers in the intelligence community, defense, civil, and commercial markets.We’re looking for a mission-driven Senior Network Architect who thrives in high-security environments and brings deep experience designing complex, large-scale network topologies. This role will support enterprise modernization efforts, including hybrid cloud integrations, secure transport layer design, and evolving infrastructure in line with agency-driven standards.Key Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end network architecture strategy across multi-domain environmentsDesign resilient, scalable network solutions integrating on-prem and cloud-native platformsAlign network infrastructure with enterprise modernization and security mandatesProvide technical oversight through planning and implementationShape future-state network evolution, including hybrid and virtual transitionsSubject matter expert for business development / proposal effortsRequirements:Active TS/SCI with PolygraphBachelor's degree in a related technical field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science)10+ years of experience in network design, including WAN, LAN, and hybrid cloud integrationsDeep understanding of routing/switching protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF), network segmentation, and encrypted transport mechanismsStrong experience with enterprise-grade gear (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto) and familiarity with software-defined networking (SDN) solutionsPrior exposure to secure agency environments, including comfort working with mission-specific tools and infrastructureDesired, but not required, experience with Nutanix solutionsPreferred Certs: CCIE, CCNP, AWS Advanced Networking, or equivalentPlease note, this position is contingent upon award.At Nightwing, we value collaboration and teamwork.
