In this role, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse or provider while helping ensure an efficient, supportive, and positive experience for every patient that walks through our doors.You'll be part of a mission-driven organization dedicated to expanding access to high-quality healthcare within our community. If you enjoy fast-paced clinical work, teamwork, and making a meaningful impact, this may be the perfect role for you.What You'll DoIn this role, you will:Prepare patients for exams and procedures while maintaining a caring, professional environmentTake and record vital signs and other clinical measurementsPerform basic diagnostic tests and collect specimens (blood draw, urine collection, swabs, etc.)Administer medications and injections as directed by a providerAssist with exams, procedures, and medical treatmentsDocument all care and patient interactions accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)Support referral processing, care coordination, and follow-up documentationMaintain exam rooms, equipment, and inventory, ensuring cleanliness and readinessSupport compliance with CLIA, OSHA, safety, and infection-control standardsAssist with care gap closure, UDS/HEDIS documentation, and quality measuresHelp ensure timely and efficient patient flow throughout the clinicEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED requiredCompletion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program preferredCertification required (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred — new graduates welcome to applyWhy Join PanCare?At PanCare of Florida, you are part of a team committed to compassionate care, access, and community health.
